Operation Unification is a two week national campaign currently running where police and Crime Stoppers programs are working together to get illicit firearms off our streets.

Illicit/illegal firearms are weapons that are illegally imported or manufactured in Australia, stolen from registered owners and/or that may be used in criminal activities.

Safety in our community is an ongoing priority!

Crime Stoppers Week 2014, held April 28th to 4th May, has been a very successful campaign for Crime Stoppers Tasmania.

"We were looking to achieve a number of outcomes from the annual week long campaign." said Ms Jill Taylor, Chair of Crime Stoppers Tasmania.
